Precautions


Spring touch products are commonly used hardware parts for major occupations, which are different from screws, nuts, mechanical parts, etc. Screws and nuts are sold in all hardware stores, but springs are rare. For example, like the two manufacturers, the appearance of the products is different, but the required spring size, compression elasticity, tension and torque are very different. So springs don't have a lot of stock.


At present, most of the maintenance personnel to judge the conductive part of the contact is to measure the circuit resistance. It is considered that the circuit resistance is within the acceptable range, and the maintenance of the conductive part can be successfully completed. It's not like that. The circuit resistance value provided in the product manual is the value of the entire conductive circuit, including the body resistance and contact resistance of the terminal, conductive pipe, contact contact and other parts. The range is large and the tolerance is large, which cannot directly reflect the change of contact resistance. Only the conductive loop path can be described. Experiments show that two pairs of touch finger contact and four pairs of touch finger contact, the circuit resistance value is within the acceptable range. Similarly, finger pressure large and small circuit resistance is almost no change.


Various maintenance degrees (regulations) and standards have regulations for measuring the contact pressure of the touch finger. The recommended measuring tool is a spring scale. In actual work, the touch finger pressure is measured at high altitude. Measuring the pressure with a spring scale is not only inconvenient, inaccurate, but also unsafe. The contact finger pressure of some structural isolation switches cannot be measured with a spring scale (for example, scissors type). Therefore, measuring the touch finger contact pressure is only a document.
