The provisions of the "Preventive Test Regulations for Electrical Equipment" are the basic requirements for equipment inspection and should be carefully implemented. In the maintenance and overhaul of power tests, relevant personnel should also implement the relevant regulations on overhaul and operation issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, adhere to prevention first, and actively improve equipment so that power equipment can operate safely and economically for a long time.

General requirements for electrical tests

(1) The provisions of the "Preventive Test Regulations for Electrical Equipment" are the basic requirements for equipment inspection and should be implemented carefully. In the maintenance and overhaul of power tests, relevant personnel should also implement the relevant regulations on overhaul and operation issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, adhere to prevention first, and actively improve equipment so that power equipment can operate safely and economically for a long time.

(2) Adhere to a scientific attitude, conduct a comprehensive and historical analysis of the experimental results, and grasp the laws and trends of equipment performance changes. Power testing should strengthen technical management, improve data files, carry out technological innovation, and continuously improve the level of experimental technology.

(3) The AC withstand voltage test shall be carried out in accordance with the "Preventive Test Regulations for Electrical Equipment" (except for special regulations) for the power test. For power transformers and transformers, withstand voltage tests should be carried out after partial and complete replacement of windings.

(4) When conducting an insulation test in a power test, the various devices connected together should be separated as much as possible and tested separately (except for a complete set of equipment), and equipment with the same test standard can be connected for testing. In order to facilitate the field test work, several electrical devices with the same test standard have separate test records. When it is difficult to perform individual power tests, tests can also be performed in series. In this case, the test standard shall be the standard in the connected equipment.

(5) When the rated voltage of the power test is different from the rated working voltage actually used, the power test should determine the test voltage standard according to the following principles: ① When using electrical equipment with higher rated voltage for strengthening, insulation, it should meet the requirements of the equipment. The test should be carried out in accordance with the rated voltage standard of the equipment; ② Electrical equipment with higher rated voltage should be used. When meeting the requirements of product versatility, the test shall be carried out according to the standard of rated working voltage actually used by the equipment; ③ When the electrical equipment of high voltage grade meets the requirements of high altitude area or polluted area, the test shall be carried out at the installation site according to the actual rated working voltage standard.

(6) Power test When performing various electrical tests related to temperature and humidity (such as measuring DC resistance, insulation resistance, loss factor, leakage current, etc.), the temperature and humidity of the test object and the surrounding air should be measured. At the same time, the power test should be carried out under good weather conditions, the temperature of the measured object and the surrounding air temperature are not lower than 5 ℃, and the relative humidity of the air is generally not higher than 80%.
